Every week Harbour City spreads itself out into different homes across our City to Build Community and Make Disciples in our Life Groups. We want to see everyone connected and loved in the Church family, and getting involved and growing in their faith.
When you join a group you can expect teaching and discussion around the scriptures, to pray together, to worship, to have some tea and snacks, to chat and have some fun, and to make some new friends while you grow as a follower of Jesus.
Prayer is one of the most important things we can do.
When we pray we connect with God. In prayer we depend on God, seek God, and enjoy God.
As a Church we Pray personally, in regular times of devotion with God. And, we see in the Bible the Church coming together to lift their voices together to God in prayer.
We do this each week from 9:20 before our Sunday Gatherings, midweek in our Life Groups, and monthly for an hour from 6pm on a Thursday evening.
On Sunday mornings, you’ll see and hear our kids smiling, laughing, playing, falling, crying, jumping and running – and that’s all before our service starts!
We have a group of passionate volunteers helping your kids in the different Age Groups to have fun and learn about Jesus.
If it’s your first time, you will see our Kids Desk, and someone will help you to find the right age group for your child, so that they can learn and worship, while you do too.
